Built for the Cranfield University MSc program, a fuselage form was constructed and planking applied in order to form a base for a mould. Once the basic moulds were created, tooling was done to add inlet duct fairing to the moulds and an inner nose sub-section mould was crafted to form a carriage for the avionics crate assembly.

Using vacuum cured 100% carbon, a fuselage top shell could then be moulded with all hatch, door and access panels moulded with steps and buttstraps, and an airframe structural testing was carried out prior to delivery to Cranfield Aerospace for flying trials.
